The Tanworth Country Music Festival & The Australian Line Dance Championship
ACTION IN TAMWORTH
AUSTRALIA -- JAN 05
Impressive 18 year old Chris Watson was one of the organizers of the Dance event.  A tremendous organizer and a delightful young man;  he was a pleasure to get to know.
If you couldn't find a room to rent, there were always the tents at the Tamworth Tennis Club!!
Live country music and dance is a magical mix.
It was a treat to catch up with talented young dancers Josh Talbot and Leonie Smallwood.  Josh was a judge at the event and Leonie won two titles.
This group of dancers came all the way from Japan to compete and have fun!
Kelvin Dale is a terrific DJ and has a loyal following.  He keeps the floor full and the dancers happy.
Let's try following the line in a circle for a change!
Rachel McEnaney made a surprise visit and to the delight of the dancers the dancers strutted her stuff!!
It was lovely to see Rachel and to meet up with Simon Ward on his own turf!!
The 'Cowboys & Angels' thrilled the crowd with their wonderful demo.
The Aussie dancers definitely know how to party!!!
A friendly family group of brother and sister, Keith and Glenda Davies who run line dance classes in Melbourne with Keith's daughter, Leanne.
Teaching at Tamworth with dancers who were 'Good To Me'!
Chris with his Mum, Judy, one of the most welcoming and hospitable people you could hope to meet.
Chris takes the head of the line on his Dare 2 Dance Parade Float  while the young dancers have a ball!
Chris accepts his award for his winning dance 'Jump In'.
